Morrison Foerster has poached a private equity partner from Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, as the US law firm continues to expand its private capital team.

The firm has recruited Eleanor Shanks, HSF Kramer’s London-based head of international private equity, according to two people familiar with the matter.
